The Gen Fyansford project has transformed a degraded brownfield quarry site into a vibrant and bustling master planned community. A complex site with significant challenges has required a visionary client, along with a sophisticated design consultant team to develop solutions that deliver cost effective environmental remediation, major earthworks, major infrastructure works, civil construction and landscaping works.

Project specific matters included major quarry environmental remediation works and approval, complex geotechnical challenges including controlled blasting of existing quarry escarpments, the management of native vegetation and cultural heritage on the site and authority approvals from City of Greater Geelong, EPA, Heritage Victoria, Aboriginal Affairs Victoria and other stakeholders.
